ABOUT ME as an artist

I've always been interested in wildlife – zoology, biology, wildflowers, marine life, insects, evolution – all of those, as well as domesticated species and pets.

I'm a self-taught artist as well as having a degree in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science in Ecology.  I enjoy portraying not only people but also animals and natural subjects as realistically as possible, to try to share how I see them – and how much importance they deserve.

This has led me to design and paint murals, signs, illustrations (books, booklets...), posters, logos, cards, fine art and cartoons. I've painted on guitars, a light aeroplane, a Land Rover, wine barrels, wedding stationery, walls, pebbles and shells; in countries ranging from Kenya to Bolivia and Spain.

I used to fill the summer months with face painting at fairs and parties but stopped at the pandemic.

I hope you enjoy my website galleries and will send me your comments, please!
